Ushers and Greeters Ministry
The Ushers and Greeters support the pastors and assist them as they bring God’s vision for the local church to fulfillment. An usher’s duties and responsibilities are to maintain order in the House of the Lord, so that the Holy Spirit operates and flows freely as the Word of God is being preached to the congregation.
1 Corinthians 14:40, “Let all things be done decently and in order”.
As an expression of the Pastors’ love and concern, the ushers and greeters extend an outstretched hand and smile to make everyone feel welcome and loved in the House of the Lord.
Elder Romona had a few words to say about what God has shown her through this ministry: “He has opened up my heart, and I’m able to see that the most precious thing in the eyes of God are His people, and I have learned over the years to treat them with love and respect.”
There is always a rotation of Ushers and Greeters.
The ministry meets for prayer every third Sunday of the month from 6:45 P.M. – 7:45 P.M.
