The musicians at LOJ are inspired and ready to make Holy music to the heart beat of the Lord. Under the leading of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Jason Alvarez, the chief musician, consistently creates a cohesive atmosphere that invites a fullness and unity of the Spirit. 

The musicians at LOJ are serious about their calling, they love the Lord and together strike a radiant and energetic chord as they come together to cause worship unto God. At LOJ, the musicians are prepared to minister on their instruments with melodies of joy, rhythms of war and harmonies of blessing. The musicians are sensitive to the flow of the Spirit and support the choir, worship leader and the congregation as they join together in praise and worship. 

 At LOJ, there is always a hopeful expectation to praise and worship the Lord. Sometimes you will hear a quiet hush of presence in the music, sometimes a blasting sound of war, sometimes a rhythmic symphony that makes you want to move and sometimes you’ll hear a sound from heaven that prompts a prophetic utterance. Whatever the atmosphere of the moment, the music is uplifting, anointed, filled with purpose and promise and Holy unto the Lord.

 “… At His tabernacle will I sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the Lord.” Psalms 27: 6

 “Whenever the spirit from God came upon Saul, David would take his harp and play. Then relief would come to Saul; he would feel better, and the evil spirit would leave him.” 1 Samuel 16:23
